Greetings from the once again wonderful warm weather of Pattaya. Was a cold few days with temps dipping down to 20° C or 68° F Went a few days without using my air conditioner but today once again nice and A.C. running strong.
I really like aquariums. I’ve not had an aquarium since my school days. It added something real to a room where as now days overcrowded with electronic devices. Yeah, I did try the aquarium screen saver back in the day. But that just didn’t do it for me and didn’t last long.
The real aquarium challenge is stocking it with a mixture of fish that can coexist. A new fish to me is the flowerhorn fish. By its appearance I guessed it to be easy going and rather docile. Wrong, wrong was I on that call. The single flowerhorn fish has already been evicted from the large tank and resides with only a cleaning fish in a smaller tank.
The fish I miss most is bass, both smallmouth and largemouth. For those who know little about fish – I’m now talking about sport fishing. I never cottoned onto saltwater fishing and Thailand has no bass fishing. Been reading that largemouth bass fishing is growing in popularity in South Korea and the Philippines. Oh well, going to look at my Missin’ Bass Fishin’ article and hope for a real good bass fishing dream. Until Next Time – Johnny
